Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to open new Coral Springs restaurant later this year

Coral Springs, Florida – A fiery new flavor is making its way to Coral Springs as Dave’s Hot Chicken gears up to open a fresh location at the Royal University Plaza.
The new restaurant, which will be located at 2558 N. University Drive, is currently in the early stages of development. Although no official opening date has been announced, a company spokesperson said Wednesday that the team is hoping to welcome customers sometime between October and December of this year. The opening is still pending planning and permitting approvals.
Dave’s Hot Chicken, known for its bold Nashville-style hot chicken, has quickly become one of the country’s fastest-growing fast-casual chains. What began as a humble pop-up in a Los Angeles parking lot has turned into a national sensation, beloved for its simple but powerful menu. Diners can expect crispy chicken tenders and sliders that pack a punch, offered in seven spice levels ranging from “No Spice” all the way to the tongue-numbing “Reaper.”
With each location, the brand continues to grow its loyal fan base — and Coral Springs is next in line. The upcoming restaurant will mark another step in Dave’s expansion across South Florida. A separate location is already underway in the Shadowood Square shopping center in West Boca Raton.
The chain’s rise to popularity has been fueled by its spicy, crave-worthy offerings and a menu that doesn’t try to do too much — just really good chicken, done right. The addition of the Coral Springs spot is expected to draw plenty of heat-seeking food lovers looking for their next favorite bite.
Whether you’re a fan of mild flavors or looking to test your taste buds with the Reaper, this new arrival is likely to become a hot destination in more ways than one.
For now, Coral Springs residents can look forward to the day Dave’s officially opens its doors — and brings its trademark sizzle with it.
