Coral Springs community chest begins 2025 grant cycle to support local nonprofit organizations with generous funding opportunities

Coral Springs, Florida – Nonprofit organizations serving Coral Springs residents now have a chance to receive a financial boost that could help them continue or expand their community work. The Coral Springs Community Chest has officially launched its 2025 grant cycle, inviting eligible groups to apply for funding through August 29.
For nearly four decades, the Community Chest has been a vital partner for nonprofits throughout the city. Now in its 37th year, the program has awarded more than $2 million in grants to local organizations addressing a wide range of needs—from food insecurity and housing instability to mental health support, programs for children and teens, and services for older adults.
“Each year, we are honored to partner with nonprofits whose work touches the lives of Coral Springs residents in powerful ways,” said Chairperson Janice Zaitz in a news release. “This program lets us put generosity to work right here at home.”
The 2025 grants are available to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, as well as educational institutions, that offer services specifically benefiting Coral Springs residents. Organizers emphasize that the funding is hyperlocal—supported by contributions from the City of Coral Springs and donations from individuals and businesses within the community. Every dollar raised stays in Coral Springs to help neighbors in need.
“These grants make a meaningful difference for our Coral Springs residents and have a lasting local impact,” said Claudette Bruck, who helps lead the nonprofit grant committee.
Applications for the grant program opened on June 2. Interested organizations must complete their submissions by August 29 to be considered for the upcoming funding cycle. Details about eligibility, requirements, and the application process are available on the Community Chest website.
The Coral Springs Community Chest encourages all qualifying organizations to apply and be part of a longstanding effort to uplift the local community through practical, on-the-ground support. By working together, city leaders and nonprofit advocates hope to meet the growing needs of residents and build a stronger, more inclusive Coral Springs.
