Coral Springs announces full schedule of music food and fireworks for Fourth of July celebration at Mullins Park

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs is preparing for a festive and family-friendly Fourth of July celebration at Mullins Park, promising a packed evening of music, food, and fireworks in honor of Independence Day.
The celebration will take place on Friday, July 4, beginning at 5 p.m. at Mullins Park, located at 10000 Ben Geiger Drive. The city has lined up entertainment and activities for all ages, making it one of the most anticipated community events of the summer.
Live music will kick off the evening, with The Remix Band performing on the main stage. As residents enjoy the tunes, they’ll also be treated to festive appearances from Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty stilt walkers roaming the grounds and adding a touch of patriotic charm.
Families can look forward to plenty of fun throughout the park. The Fun Zone, located on Fields #4 and #6, will offer inflatables for kids to enjoy. To make things smoother for Coral Springs residents, the city is offering Express Lane access at the Fun Zone. “Residents can register for Express Lane access at the Fun Zone by presenting a valid I.D.,” city officials said. The inflatables will close shortly before the fireworks begin, wrapping up at 8:30 p.m.
A variety of food trucks and vendors will be available throughout the night, offering snacks and refreshments for all tastes. For those hoping to grab a good seat for the grand finale, coolers, picnic blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome. However, guests should note that while outside alcohol is not permitted, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase in designated fields.
The fireworks show — the highlight of the night — is scheduled to begin at 8:45 p.m., weather permitting. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking and avoid traffic congestion. While admission and parking are free, space is limited. The city is urging those who live nearby to walk or carpool to ease traffic flow.
To help manage the expected crowds and ensure a safe experience, Coral Springs Drive will close in both directions starting at 6 p.m. City officials also warn of potential traffic delays around 9 p.m. as attendees begin to leave the park.
One new feature added this year is a thoughtful child safety measure. “New this year, child safety wristbands will be available at city tents,” the city announced. These wristbands allow parents to write their phone number on their child’s band, which can be used to help reunite families if children get separated in the crowd.
With a focus on community, safety, and celebration, the city’s July 4th event is shaping up to be a fun and memorable evening for all.
