Coral Springs Museum of Art announces Caribbean Night and Summer Jazz Series with live music and interactive events

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Museum of Art is preparing to bring a mix of music, creativity, and late-summer energy to the community with two upcoming programs designed to turn the museum into a lively evening gathering space. This summer’s lineup includes Art@Night: Caribbean Night along with the return of Jazz in the Galleries, both aimed at blending visual art with live performance in a relaxed, interactive setting.
The first event, Art@Night: Caribbean Night, will take place on Thursday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the museum located at 2855 Coral Springs Drive. The program is free to attend and invites visitors to step into a colorful, hands-on creative experience inspired by Caribbean culture.
Guests will have the opportunity to design Carnival-inspired masks using feathers, glitter, and other decorative materials. The activity is designed to encourage imagination and participation, giving attendees a chance to engage directly with the artistic theme of the evening while music sets the tone throughout the museum’s Main Gallery.

Organizers say the event is meant to blend artmaking with cultural celebration, offering a casual space where families, friends, and visitors can interact with both the artwork and each other. Caribbean-themed music will play throughout the evening, adding to the atmosphere.
Food and beverages will also be part of the experience, with offerings available for purchase from Reggae Beets along with a selection of drinks. The combination of art, music, and food is intended to create a laid-back but engaging environment that reflects the spirit of the Caribbean-inspired theme.
Later in the summer, the museum will shift focus to its Jazz in the Galleries series, scheduled for Thursday, June 25, and again on Thursday, July 23, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. These evening performances will feature musicians from the Gold Coast Jazz Society, who will perform live throughout the museum’s gallery spaces.
The Gold Coast Jazz Society is known for showcasing experienced jazz musicians performing a wide range of styles, from traditional jazz standards to more contemporary compositions. Instead of a traditional stage setup, performers will be placed throughout the galleries, allowing music to flow through the exhibition spaces and surround visitors as they explore.
Admission for Jazz in the Galleries is set at $20 for the general public and $5 for museum members. Beverages will be available for purchase during both events, giving attendees a chance to enjoy refreshments while listening to live music in an intimate cultural setting.
In addition to the scheduled programming, visitors attending either Art@Night or Jazz in the Galleries will also be able to explore the museum’s current exhibitions. These include Across this Land: America at 250, which examines the American landscape through contemporary perspectives, and Clyde Butcher: Lifeworks in Photography, a major retrospective featuring large-format black-and-white images from the renowned photographer’s long career. Both exhibitions will remain on display through August 1.
The museum says these summer programs are part of its ongoing effort to make art more accessible and engaging for the community, offering experiences that go beyond traditional gallery visits. By combining visual art with live music, hands-on activities, and cultural themes, the events aim to attract both regular visitors and those discovering the museum for the first time.

With its blend of creativity, music, and community participation, the Coral Springs Museum of Art’s summer series is set to transform its galleries into vibrant evening destinations, offering residents a chance to experience art in a more dynamic and social way.
