Three Florida lottery players split Fantasy 5 jackpot prize as two winning tickets are sold in Broward County locations

Broward County, Florida – A weekend lottery drawing brought an unexpected payday for three Florida players after the Fantasy 5 midday game produced multiple winners, including two tickets purchased in Broward County.

According to the Florida Lottery, the June 27 drawing resulted in a nearly $60,000 jackpot being split between three winning tickets. Each ticket will receive $20,062 before taxes after correctly matching all five winning numbers.

The winning numbers for the midday draw were 2-3-9-10-12.

Two of the winning tickets were sold in South Florida. One was purchased at the RaceTrac gas station located at 3990 Griffin Road in Hollywood, while the second was sold at the Pompano Food and Daily convenience store at 599 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. The third winning ticket came from a Publix supermarket in Lake Mary, a suburb north of Orlando.

Lottery officials said all three winners selected their own numbers instead of using the quick-pick option, where numbers are randomly generated by the system. That choice turned out to be a fortunate one, as all three tickets successfully matched the full set of winning numbers.

The odds of matching all five numbers in the Fantasy 5 game are approximately 1 in 376,992, making jackpot wins relatively rare despite the game’s daily drawings.

While Saturday’s midday drawing created three winners, the evening Fantasy 5 game also produced additional luck for other players across the state. In that separate drawing, three winning tickets were sold in Opa Locka, Tampa, and The Villages. Each of those winners will receive $39,830 before taxes.

The winning numbers for the evening draw were 1-2-3-5-10.

Lottery officials continue to remind players that while games like Fantasy 5 can produce life-changing moments, they are still games of chance with extremely low odds of winning top prizes. As with all lottery products, outcomes are random and cannot be predicted.

Alongside the excitement, officials also include reminders about responsible play. While many people enjoy lottery games without issue, gambling can become a serious problem for some individuals and families.

Anyone experiencing signs of gambling-related harm is encouraged to seek help. Support is available through the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or through the National Council on Problem Gambling.

For now, however, three Florida tickets are worth celebrating after turning a simple number selection into a shared jackpot win, with Broward County once again proving to be a frequent stop for lottery luck.
