New sports bar planned for University Drive in Coral Springs as restaurant prepares to join busy dining area

Coral Springs, Florida – Another sports bar is in the works for Coral Springs, with a new restaurant planned along one of the city’s busy commercial stretches.

Time Out Sports & Grill is expected to open at 2049 N. University Drive inside RK Coral Palm Plaza. The planned location is a few doors down from Michaels, placing the restaurant in a shopping center that has seen several dining businesses come and go over the years.

The property owner, RK Centers, announced the new restaurant on social media last month. While the announcement confirms plans for Time Out Sports & Grill, many of the details about the business remain unknown.

There is currently no information available about the restaurant’s menu or the type of food and drinks customers can expect. An opening date has also not been announced.

The space itself is not new to the restaurant scene. Several restaurants have occupied the location over the years, with the most recent business being a Colombian restaurant. Time Out Sports & Grill will now bring a different concept to the site, adding another option for people looking for a place to watch sports and spend time with friends.

The new restaurant will also enter a market that already includes several sports bars in Coral Springs. Among them is Miller’s Ale House, located on University Drive, which has an established presence along the same major roadway.

Other local options include Lefty’s Tavern & Grille on Coral Ridge Drive and Sharkey’s Bar & Grill on Royal Palm Boulevard. The arrival of Time Out Sports & Grill will give residents another sports-focused venue to consider once the business opens.

For now, however, customers will have to wait for more information. The property owner has not released details about when construction or preparations will be completed, and the restaurant has yet to announce its expected opening date.

As plans move forward, more information about Time Out Sports & Grill could provide a clearer picture of what the new business will offer at RK Coral Palm Plaza.

For residents and visitors who regularly travel along University Drive, the restaurant will add another dining and entertainment business to the busy corridor. Its location near other retail and restaurant businesses could also make the plaza a convenient stop for customers once the new sports bar begins operations.
