La Bamba restaurants celebrate National Taco Day by offering free tacos to diners across all South Florida locations

Margate, Florida – South Florida taco lovers have a reason to celebrate this week, as La Bamba Mexican & Spanish Restaurants announced they will be marking National Taco Day on Tuesday, October 7, by giving away free tacos with any dine-in purchase between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at all six of their locations.
The popular, family-owned restaurant chain, known for its authentic Mexican and Spanish dishes, has been part of the South Florida dining scene for decades. Founded by the Molina family, who emigrated from El Salvador and opened their first restaurant in Lauderhill in 1988, La Bamba has grown into a regional favorite with locations in Plantation, Margate, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, and North Palm Beach.
“We’re excited to celebrate National Taco Day by giving something back to our loyal guests who’ve supported us for so many years,” a La Bamba representative said. “Our family has always believed that food brings people together, and there’s no better way to do that than with tacos.”
Guests who visit any participating La Bamba restaurant during the special two-hour window will receive a complimentary taco with their dine-in order. The offer coincides with the restaurant’s regular Taco Tuesday specials, meaning customers can enjoy even more value throughout the day.
Each of the six La Bamba locations will be participating in the promotion while supplies last:
• Plantation: 10169 W. Sunrise Blvd.
• Margate: 5452 W. Sample Rd.
• Fort Lauderdale (N Federal Hwy): 4245 N Federal Hwy
• Fort Lauderdale (Cordova Rd): 1901 Cordova Rd
• Delray Beach: 4285 W. Atlantic Ave.
• North Palm Beach: 730 US-1
In addition to the free taco giveaway, diners can expect La Bamba’s usual warm atmosphere and a menu filled with traditional favorites like sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, and homemade guacamole. The restaurant has long been celebrated for its blend of authentic recipes and family-style service, which has made it a local mainstay for more than 35 years.
National Taco Day, celebrated annually in early October, has become one of the most popular food holidays across the United States, with restaurants nationwide offering deals and creative twists on the classic dish. For La Bamba, the event is more than just a marketing celebration — it’s a chance to connect with the community that helped the Molina family’s dream thrive.
As the restaurant group put it, “Our guests are part of our extended family, and we’re thrilled to share this celebration with them.”
The free taco offer is available only for dine-in customers from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and quantities may be limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of the tasty deal.
