Coral Springs prepares for Hoppin into Spring Egg Hunt this weekend with fun activities for local children

Coral Springs, Florida – Excitement is building in Coral Springs as the city gets ready to host its annual Hoppin’ Into Spring Egg Hunt this Saturday at Sportsplex Park. Families are encouraged to register by Friday, as city officials have emphasized that walk-ups will not be accepted for the event.

The egg hunt will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 2800 Sportsplex Drive, and is open exclusively to children ages 3 to 8 who live in Coral Springs. Organizers have carefully designed age-specific time slots to ensure a fun and safe experience for all participants.

A sensory-friendly session for children with special needs will kick off the day from 9 to 9:30 a.m., allowing one adult to accompany each child. Following that, the 3- to 4-year-old group will hunt from 9 to 10 a.m., also with one adult permitted on the field. Children ages 4 to 6 will take their turn from 10 to 11 a.m., and the final session, from 11 a.m. to noon, will allow all children ages 3 to 8 to hunt independently without adults.

Every participant will leave with themed sunglasses and a ticket for a complimentary Italian ice. But the fun doesn’t stop with the egg hunt. Families can enjoy arts and crafts, a bounce house, music provided by a DJ, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

“Families have shown so much excitement for this annual tradition,” said a city spokesperson. “We want to make sure every child has a safe and memorable experience, and registering ahead of time helps us manage the event effectively.”

The Hoppin’ Into Spring Egg Hunt has become a cherished tradition in Coral Springs, offering children an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while participating in classic Easter activities. The city has structured the event to be inclusive, offering sensory-friendly options and carefully organized age groups to ensure that all children can participate comfortably.
