Coral Springs High School welcomes incoming freshmen with 2026 Stampede Orientation to prepare students for high school life

Coral Springs, Florida – Incoming freshmen at Coral Springs High School will soon have the chance to get familiar with their new campus, meet future classmates, and learn what to expect before beginning their high school journey.

The school will host its 2026 Freshmen Stampede Orientation on Friday, July 31, offering students an introduction to campus life ahead of the 2026-27 school year. The event is designed to help ninth graders feel more comfortable as they make the transition from middle school to high school.

The orientation program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Coral Springs High School. Throughout the day, students will participate in activities focused on building confidence, learning about available opportunities, and becoming familiar with the school environment.

Organizers said the event will include student-led workshops, campus tours, club and athletic sign-ups, games, lunch, and a Coral Springs High freshman T-shirt. By connecting new students with current students and school resources, the program aims to make the first steps into high school easier and more enjoyable.

The Freshmen Stampede is also an opportunity for students to explore the many activities available at Coral Springs High. Through club and athletic information sessions, incoming freshmen can discover ways to become involved outside the classroom and begin building connections with the school community.

In addition to activities for students, parents will also have an opportunity to participate through a free Parent University workshop held during the orientation. The session will provide families with information, tools, and resources designed to help support students’ academic progress and personal development throughout their high school years.

School officials say involving families early can help create a stronger connection between parents, students, and the school as freshmen begin this important stage of their education.
