St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church asks residents to donate gently used items for Granny’s Attic Sale
Coral Springs, Florida – St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church is asking residents to look through their homes and consider donating gently used items for its upcoming Granny’s Attic Sale.
The church will continue accepting donations through Oct. 9, giving community members several weeks to bring in items they no longer need. Donations can be dropped off at the church office on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Organizers are looking for a wide variety of household and decorative items that can be sold during the event. Among the items being accepted are luggage, home and holiday decorations, bakeware, chip-free glassware and small electrical appliances.
The donation list also includes collectibles, jewelry, vintage items, artwork, lamps, small tools, toys and games. Small pieces of furniture may also be donated, but there is an extra step for those items. Anyone planning to donate furniture must email a photo to the church first and receive approval before bringing it in.
There are also several categories of items the church cannot accept. Donors are asked not to bring bedding, linens, comforters, blankets or pillows. Stuffed animals, medical supplies and equipment are also not being accepted.
The church is also unable to take knives or weapons, cosmetics, books, magazines, CDs or DVDs. Clothing and shoes are not part of the donation drive either.
The Granny’s Attic Sale itself is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, and will run from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event will give shoppers an opportunity to browse the donated items while supporting the church.
In addition to the sale donations, the church is collecting new and unused items that will be used to create raffle baskets. Those baskets will be featured during the church’s 32nd annual Craft Show.

The Craft Show is scheduled for Oct. 17 and 18, shortly after the Granny’s Attic Sale.
With two community events planned in October, the church is seeking support from residents both through donated household items and new products for the raffle baskets. Those interested in contributing can bring eligible gently used items to the church office during the stated weekday hours, while furniture donors should make sure to obtain approval first.
The donation period for Granny’s Attic runs through Oct. 9, giving residents a deadline to contribute before the sale opens its doors the following morning.
