Next Stop Broadway plans Halloween showcase to support new musical theater program

Coral Springs, Florida – A Halloween evening featuring stage performances, trick-or-treating and raffle prizes will help Next Stop Broadway raise money for a new opportunity for its student performers.

The organization will host its CaBOOret Trick-or-Treat Showcase on Friday, Oct. 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at Next Stop Broadway, 2855 Coral Springs Drive in Coral Springs.

Staff members, students and alumni will take the stage for live performances during the showcase. The lineup brings together people from different parts of the Next Stop Broadway community for an evening that combines theater with Halloween activities.

Guests are encouraged to arrive in their favorite costumes. Along with watching the performances, attendees can visit trick-or-treat stations operated by local businesses and vendors.

Raffles will offer ticket holders a chance to win prizes connected to the organization’s performing arts programs. Among the prizes are free private lessons and a complimentary summer camp session.

Money raised through the showcase will support the upcoming NSB All Stars project. Scheduled for May, the audition-only program will give dedicated performers an opportunity to take part in an advanced musical production.

The new project is intended for students seeking to develop their theatrical skills through more challenging work. Participation will require an audition, adding a separate opportunity for performers ready to pursue that next level of training.

The musical itself has not yet been announced. Next Stop Broadway plans to reveal the title during the CaBOOret event, giving attendees a first look at which production the All Stars program will present.
