Five dogs euthanized after killing their Iowa owner

A woman’s corpse was discovered in a ditch in Iowa, and authorities believe that her own dogs were responsible for her death.

The corpse of Mindy Kiepe was discovered in a ditch on Monday by a man who at first believed that she had been involved in a motorcycle accident, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

The man told the sheriff’s office that he couldn’t get close to the woman because she was with several big dogs.

Kiepe was declared dead at the scene by authorities.

The victim, who was 43 years old, lived on a farm in the area where her corpse was discovered.

An autopsy that was conducted by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office determined dog bites were the cause of Kiepe’s death.

The investigation after Kiepe’s death reportedly found that her five Great Danes killed her.

According to the sheriff’s office, the dogs were later euthanized.
