Drive-by shooting in northwest Miami-Dade left three people injured

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – As a result of a drive-by shooting in the northwestern part of Miami-Dade County, three victims were sent to the hospital.

The incident took place on Tuesday at about 7:46 p.m. in the 2000 block of Northwest 64th Street in Northwest Portland.

When a burgundy Ford F150 pickup truck reportedly drove up to a group of people who were standing outside of an apartment building in Miami-Dade County, there were two males and two women among the group.

According to the police, someone started firing from inside the vehicle, and three people were hit by bullets as a result.

According to the findings of the investigation, one of the male victims was shot in the upper extremities, the other male victim was wounded in the lower back, and one of the female victims was shot in the lower extremities.

After getting help from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the patients were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where they are listed in stable condition.

After the shots were fired, the pickup vehicle, according to the police, drove off in an unknown direction.
