Tom Brady has announced yet again that he’s retiring, but this time it’s “for good

Tom Brady has said he’s leaving the NFL once more, but this time it’s “for good.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ star quarterback broke the shocking news in a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday morning.

“Guys, good morning. I’ll get right to the point. I’m retiring. For good,” he said with a nod.

“I know the process was a big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I thought I’d just hit record and let you guys know first,” he said.

“Won’t go on and on. You can only write one really sad retirement essay, and I wrote mine last year,” Brady said. “So, really, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. I could go on and on about my family, friends, teammates, and opponents, but there are just too many. Thank you so much for letting me live out my dream. I wouldn’t do anything different. Love you all.”

A source familiar with the deal told NBC News that Brady has signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports. In May, the New York Post was the first to write about the deal.

Last February, Brady said he was leaving the NFL, but he was back on the field in just 40 days. In March, he changed his mind.

The Buccaneers shared his video and a picture of him with the words “Thank you” on their social media accounts.

After the news came out, Brady put a lot of pictures on his Instagram stories of him with his family, his teammates in the locker room, and his kids wearing his jersey.

On Brady’s social media posts, people showed their support. Many people think Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history.

David Beckham, a famous soccer player, said to him on his Instagram video, “We love you, man.” Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, replied with three goat emojis, which stand for “Greatest of All Time.”

Great tennis Serena Williams said, “This is making me teary-eyed. Sad to see you go. Welcome to the world of retirement…Again!”

Derek Jeter, the legendary shortstop for the New York Yankees, said, “Congratulations on a great career. It was great to see!!”

The news also comes about three months after Brady’s 13-year marriage to supermodel Gisele Bündchen ended in a divorce.

Brady and Bündchen got married in 2009, and they have two kids together: Benjamin, who is 12, and Vivian, who is 9. Jack, who is 15 years old, is the NFL player’s son with actor and model Bridget Moynahan.
