Body found in burning vehicle in Pompano Beach, investigation underway

Pompano Beach, Florida – A dreadful incident occurred in Pompano Beach in the early hours of the morning, when a report of a blazing SUV in the 200 block of NW 32nd Court was received by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. Responding swiftly to the emergency call, Sheriff’s deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived at the location, only to discover a ghastly sight.

Flames were seen emanating from the car, which was later revealed to be a grisly crime scene. Upon extinguishing the flames, an unidentified body was discovered within the charred remains of the SUV. A man residing in the vicinity was awoken by two loud gunshots, which he found unsettling. Shortly thereafter, he was shocked to observe the vehicle engulfed in flames, with two unknown individuals fleeing the area shortly afterwards.

The severity of the situation necessitated an immediate notification of the sheriff’s homicide detectives and investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office. An investigation is ongoing to shed light on this gruesome event in the hopes of bringing justice to the victim and their family.
