Man arrested in Broward County for indecent exposure, abduction threat, and officer altercation

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – A man has been apprehended in Broward County following a series of disturbing incidents that involved exposing himself to both adults and minors, engaging in a physical altercation with law enforcement officers, and making threats of child abduction.

The incident unfolded on a Sunday morning at a business located near Broward Boulevard and Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. The suspect, in a brazen act, exposed himself to both adults and minors while simultaneously issuing threats regarding the abduction of a child.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement officers, who swiftly responded to the scene, an attempt was made to take the suspect into custody. However, the individual resisted arrest, resulting in injuries to two officers. These injured officers were subsequently treated at Broward Health Medical Center.

Subsequently, the suspect was apprehended and now faces multiple charges, including indecent exposure, battery on a law enforcement officer, and violent resistance to arrest. The swift action by law enforcement in resolving this incident highlights their commitment to ensuring public safety.
