Broward Crime Stoppers offers $5,000 for key information in fatal shooting

Pompano Beach, Florida – Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a  reward of up to $5,000 for any information that conclusively leads to an arrest in relation to a shooting incident resulting in a fatality in September of the previous year.

This fatal shooting transpired at approximately 10 p.m., on the evening of September 16, 2022. The incident occurred in the vicinity of a residential property located close to the 2800 block of Northwest Second Street.

Law enforcement reports indicate that emergency services from both the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Lamarius Walker, an 18-year-old male, lying on the roadway adjacent to the aforementioned property. Walker was in a critical state, suffering from several gunshot injuries. Tragically, he was declared deceased at the site of the incident.

In the ensuing investigation, detectives from the BSO Homicide and Crime Scene Units were brought in. Preliminary analyses suggest that multiple individuals may have been involved in this lethal shooting.
