U.S. Coast Guard and Royal Bahamas Defense Force join forces in missing aircraft search

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The U.S. Coast Guard recently reported that they have initiated a search for a Cessna 402 airplane that went missing on Saturday, shortly after departing from Fort Lauderdale International.

One person was said to be aboard.

The last known location of the aircraft was approximately “17 miles west of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas.”

In collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard, the “Royal Bahamas Defense Force” has also joined the effort to locate the missing plane.
