Broward County Public Schools announces Class of 2024 graduation schedule

Prepares for Class of 2024 Graduation Events

Coral Springs, Florida – Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) has unveiled the eagerly awaited graduation schedule for the Class of 2024. This significant announcement marks a momentous occasion for students, parents, and educators alike as they prepare to honor the accomplishments of the graduating class.

The graduation ceremonies will be held across all 48 high schools, technical colleges, and education centers within the Broward County Public Schools District. These events are scheduled to take place from June 4 to June 10, 2024, providing a week of celebrations for the Class of 2024.

Students and their parents can expect to receive detailed information from their respective schools regarding various aspects of the graduation process. This information will include instructions on ordering caps and gowns, the format and plans for graduation ceremonies, distribution of guest tickets, safety protocols in place, guidance on graduation decorum, and access to live streaming options for family and friends who may be unable to attend the ceremonies in person.

BCPS Superintendent Peter B. Licata expressed his excitement about the upcoming graduation ceremonies, stating, “We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our Class of 2024 with these graduation ceremonies. We look forward to honoring their achievements and sending them off to the next chapter in their lives.” These ceremonies represent not only the culmination of years of hard work and dedication but also the commencement of new adventures and opportunities for the graduates.

Here is a glimpse of the graduation ceremony schedule for select institutions:

  • Atlantic Technical College – Monday, June 10, 4 p.m., Broward Center for the Performing Arts Center
  • Atlantic Technical High School – Monday, June 10, 11 a.m., Broward Center for the Performing Arts Center
  • Blanche Ely High School – Saturday, June 8, 7 p.m., Nova Southeastern University
  • Boyd Anderson High School – Tuesday, June 4, 2 p.m., Broward Center for the Performing Arts Center
  • Bright Horizons Center – Tuesday, June 4, 9 a.m., Bright Horizons
  • Broward Virtual School – Wednesday, June 5, 2 p.m., Lauderhill Performing Arts Center
  • Coconut Creek High School – Sunday, June 9, 7 p.m., Broward Center for the Performing Arts Center
