Coral Springs organizes preschool supply drive in celebration of National Give Something Away Day

Coral Springs, Florida – In celebration of National Give Something Away Day, the City of Coral Springs is organizing a Preschool Supply Drive to support young learners. The drive will take place from Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 5:00 PM to Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The city is collecting new items such as art supplies, books, educational toys, and classroom essentials to ensure that preschoolers have the resources they need for a great start.

Items Needed for Donation

The city encourages residents to donate new items to help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The items needed include:

  • Art Supplies
  • Baby Wipes
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Diapers
  • Dry Erase Markers
  • First Aid Kits
  • Large Crayons
  • Playdough
  • Playground Toys
  • Paper Products (cups, plates, bowls)
  • Paper Towels
  • Preschool Books
  • Sports Balls

Drop-Off Locations

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Coral Springs Gymnasium – 2501 Coral Springs Drive
  • Senior Center at Sartory Hall – 10150 NW 29th Street
  • Aquatic Complex – 12441 Royal Palm Blvd
  • Coral Springs City Hall – 9500 W Sample Road
  • City Hall In the Mall – Coral Square Mall
