Death in Coral Springs upgraded to homicide case, victim identified
Coral Springs, Florida – The quiet morning on Tuesday in Coral Springs turned grim as Coral Springs authorities discovered a dead body. The death investigation was upgraded to a homicide investigation case a day after the body was discovered, WSVN reported citing police sources.

Tuesday at approximately 9 a.m., Coral Springs Police were sent to a scene in front of an empty pool supply company at the corner of Northwest 110th Avenue and Wiles Road. The discovery of the body prompted an immediate response from law enforcement and forensic teams.
At first, there were no obvious indicators of violence—such as blood—but by Wednesday, the local police confirmed they are investigating the case as a homicide. After more police investigation, the investigation was formally turned into a homicide case. Police have not revealed the cause of death for the victim, identified as the 28-year-old Kinolee Gardner.

Scene images revealed a white tent first covering Gardner’s remains, and 7Skyforce helicopter images captured the stark setting. Later, a blue tent was constructed and evidence markers peppered the area as investigators carefully tried to put together the circumstances preceding Gardner’s murder.
Coral Springs Police have reassured its citizens that there is no continuous threat to the community despite the horrific discovery and later murder investigation. As detectives look further into Gardner’s case, the motive and method of his murder remain under wraps.
