Coral Springs’ Coral Glades High School addresses a kitchen knife incident on campus

Coral Springs, Florida – It was recently discovered that a pupil at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs was in possession of a kitchen knife while they were working on school grounds.

The incident, which occurred approximately one week ago, prompted the school system to release a message to parents in order to address their concerns and clarify what had occurred.

The news of the occurrence circulated over social media, which prompted parents to inquire about the manner in which a kitchen knife managed to circumvent metal detectors and make its way inside the school without being discovered.

The district released a statement in which it explained that metal detectors were not engaged in the event. The statement addressed the concerns that were raised.

The knife in question was a typical cooking item, comparable to a butter knife, and it had been a part of the supplies in a life skills classroom, which is a classroom where children learn practical skills. This is when the incident occurred, according to the officials.

According to the administration, the youngster in question will be subject to the proper disciplinary actions at school.
