Near Coral Springs, a man was discovered dead on a levee

Coral Springs, Florida – Authorities reported that a guy was discovered dead on a levee along the Sawgrass Expressway close to Coral Springs on Tuesday.

After Coral Springs Police alerted BSO about the individual, who was discovered on the levee close to a body of water around 4:30 p.m., detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide and crime scene units arrived to conduct an investigation. The incident’s precise location was not disclosed by the authorities.

First responders from the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department tried CPR on the guy, who seems to have died from an apparent suicide, according to BSO detectives.

Investigations are underway on the circumstances surrounding his death. BSO said there is currently no suspicion of foul play.
