After four years, Coral Springs Gyroville closes due to a bankruptcy court order

Coral Springs, Florida – Gyroville, the fast-casual, Greek-inspired eatery that has been serving the Coral Springs community for four years, has closed.

The eatery at 1750 University Drive, run by former NYPD officers Irving and Maria Rodriguez, started during the COVID-19 pandemic’s difficulties.

The pair received a business award from the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2021 in recognition of their service and tenacity.

Two signs now greet clients at the door: one thanks them for their support and the other announces the closure by bankruptcy court order.

The eatery was listed as permanently closed on Google.

On Wednesday, it was impossible to get in touch with the owners for comment.
