Coral Springs, Florida – As residents of Coral Springs finish their turkey meals and all the accompanying sides, many begin to focus on year-end traditions, particularly the festive holiday light displays.

Check out these locations featuring festive light displays and holiday events:

The holiday season in Coral Springs kicks off on Dec. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony, a highlight of the annual “Light Up the Lawn” event.

This year’s event features a snow zone, complimentary cookies, a stuffed animal giveaway, and train rides. Train rides are limited to residents of Coral Springs and necessitate prior registration.

Organizers have announced that this year’s festivities will not include food trucks or an ice-skating rink, and attendees are advised against bringing lawn chairs.

The Holiday Fantasy of Lights is back in Coconut Creek.

This holiday season, Tradewinds Park will once again host the beloved 30th annual Holiday Fantasy of Lights, a cherished local tradition.

Promoted as the largest drive-thru holiday lighting event in Florida, this attraction will showcase three miles of enormous animated displays and stunning lights, offering an extraordinary seasonal experience for attendees.

The showcase combines beloved classics with innovative new designs from Brandano Displays, ensuring a lively fusion of nostalgia and contemporary creativity.

The drive-thru operates nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 4. Tickets can be purchased exclusively online for $28, which includes a processing fee per vehicle, irrespective of the number of occupants. For buses accommodating 15 passengers or more, the cost is $60.

Flamingo Gardens is set to present its Annual Garden of Lights Event.

Flamingo Gardens is brightening the holiday season with its yearly Garden of Lights event, turning the Arboretum and Wray Lawn into a spectacle of thousands of lights and cheerful decorations. The evening event invites attendees to enjoy a self-guided walk through the beautifully lit botanical gardens.

Guests can experience live music every night from 6 to 9 p.m., meet Santa, enjoy snow, and listen to holiday stories on certain evenings. A weekend holiday crafters market enhances the celebrations, offering families the chance to buy s’mores kits for roasting over fire pits. At the Flamingo Pond Snack Bar, you can find a selection of snacks and unique holiday drinks available for purchase.

For those aged 12 and older, the admission fee is $20. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 can enter for $15, while children aged 2 and under can enjoy free admission. Members of Flamingo Gardens are charged $5 for both adults and children. Be aware that animal exhibits, tram rides, and various daytime activities will be unavailable throughout the event.

Ocean Way Holiday Celebration in Deerfield Beach

The Ocean Way Holiday celebration in Deerfield Beach is set to take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at the Main Beach Parking Lot.

The upcoming event promises an array of live entertainment, opportunities to meet Santa and his reindeer, a massive interactive snow globe, ice skating, festive treats, and much more.
Attendance is complimentary; however, attendees are required to pay for parking.

The city’s renowned holiday lights will brighten Ocean Way all through December, creating a cheerful ambiance for everyone to appreciate alongside the celebrations.

The Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale

The biggest floating light display in Broward County is set to make its return on December 14 along the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade is set to feature pre-parade celebrations at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, situated at the southeast corner of Las Olas Boulevard and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The festivities begin at 4 p.m., featuring activities suitable for families, live performances, and chances to take photos with Santa and local mascots, such as Stanley from the Florida Panthers.
The parade is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. along the New River, with an anticipated arrival at the viewing area by 7 p.m. Attendees will have access to seating.

Adult tickets are priced at $40, while tickets for children aged 10 and under are $35. Children aged 3 and younger can attend for free. Parking is conveniently located nearby, but using rideshare services is recommended.
