Essential information regarding the Coral Springs Holiday Parade scheduled for Wednesday
Coral Springs, Florida – This Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m., the Coral Springs Holiday Parade will be held along Sample Road.
The theme for this year, “Magical Memories: A Ride Down Memory Lane,” will showcase performances and floats from local schools, organizations, and community groups, designed to inspire nostalgia and honor the holiday season.
The parade has been a cherished tradition in Coral Springs and is anticipated to draw residents from all over the city.
Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, road closures will take effect and are anticipated to continue until approximately 10 p.m. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays or consider alternative routes. The upcoming road closures are as follows:
• Sample Road: From just west of University Drive to east of NW 110th Avenue.
• Coral Springs Drive: From north of Royal Palm Boulevard to south of NW 37th Street.
Access along the parade route will be restricted to pedestrians only, with private golf carts not allowed.
Parking can be found at these locations:
• City Hall Garage (9500 West Sample Road): Free parking, including limited handicap spaces. The garage will close at 6:30 p.m. or when it reaches capacity.
• Across from City Hall (9551 West Sample Road): Additional handicap parking, accessible from Wiles Road by turning south onto Coral Hills Drive. A handicap decal is required.
Key locations along the parade route will feature portable restrooms:
• Near Burger King (10494 W. Sample Road)
• Near Wendy’s (10050 W. Sample Road)
• Across from City Hall (9551 West Sample Road)
Furthermore, the public restrooms located within City Hall (9500 West Sample Road) will be accessible for use.
Attendees are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets to claim a place along Sample Road. Seating that is accessible for individuals with disabilities will be provided at:
• The intersection of Sample Road and Coral Hills Drive.
• The designated viewing area at City Hall.
Seating options for attendees may also be available from local businesses along the parade route.
