A weekend of outdoor family fun returns to 2025 Campout Coral Springs
Coral Springs, Florida – Families are encouraged to join in a distinctive outdoor adventure with Campout Coral Springs.
An upcoming overnight campout is scheduled at the Sportsplex Athletic Field, taking place from Saturday, January 25, to Sunday, January 26, 2025. Families have the opportunity to relish the beauty of the great outdoors while staying in town.
The campout, tailored specifically for residents of Coral Springs, features a variety of thrilling activities such as crafting s’mores, enjoying a movie on a large outdoor screen, engaging in kickball, and utilizing an on-site playground.
The excitement begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday as campers arrive to check in and set up their tents. The event wraps up on Sunday morning, with breakdowns anticipated to occur between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Families are required to secure a camping space to take part. Each location can host a maximum of four individuals and is priced at $80. The cost covers participation in all activities, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Beginning in January, each additional camper can be accommodated for $20, with a limit of six campers allowed per site.
Campers are required to provide their own tents, sleeping gear, and seating options. Refunds will be provided solely in the event of cancellation.
The Coral Springs Public Safety Department will be present to guarantee a secure and pleasant experience for everyone involved. The fire department is set to manage communal campfires, while the police will ensure overnight security is in place.
New safety protocols involve providing electric outlets for air mattress inflation and ensuring access to restrooms. Nonetheless, there will be no provision for showers. Parking is designated at Coral Glades High School, and campers are advised to bring beach carts for both setup and breakdown.
To ensure a family-friendly atmosphere, the following items are not allowed: pets, RVs, alcohol, fireworks, cooking at tent sites, and amplified music.
Campers are advised to bring a tent that accommodates up to six individuals, along with sleeping essentials like air mattresses, blankets, and pillows. Additionally, it’s important to pack chairs, coolers filled with beverages, extra snacks, flashlights, lanterns, and refillable water bottles.
Participants who have registered will be provided with extra packing recommendations as the event date approaches.
Due to limited availability, residents should consider registering promptly to ensure they secure their places. The event is set to occur regardless of weather conditions, and campers will have the option to take refuge in their vehicles if severe weather arises.
