Donate used bikes, pajamas, socks, and shoes to families in need by participating in the Rotary Club’s Day of Service

Coral Springs, Florida – Jacob’s Shoes is organizing a contribution drive in collaboration with the Coral Springs-Parkland Rotary Club.

The event takes place in the Pine Trails Park Amphitheater on Saturday, January 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on its yearly Day of Service.

To support a number of projects, the club is gathering new pajamas, socks, underwear, and used bikes. Family Central, an organization that helps disadvantaged families, will use the donations to help anxious youngsters.

The collected bicycles will be restored and delivered to a South African Rotary Club, where they will give rural populations much-needed mobility.

Attendees can also assist In Jacob’s Shoes by contributing shoes, which will be cleaned and prepared for delivery to people in need by volunteers on the scene.

Since its founding in 2009, In Jacob’s Shoes has made a substantial contribution to the South Florida community by giving more than 10,000 backpacks with school supplies and more than 192,000 pairs of shoes to underprivileged kids and families.

Visit the Rotary Club of Coral Springs-Parkland’s official website to learn more about how to get involved or make a donation. 10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33076 is the address of Pine Trails Park.
