After stealing about $2,000 worth of fragrances from Macy’s at Coral Square Mall in Coral Springs, a woman was arrested

Coral Springs, Florida – Last week, a lady was taken into custody for allegedly stealing luxury fragrances valued at about $2,000 from Macy’s at Coral Square Mall.
The arrest report said that police were called to the store on January 27 when loss prevention officers saw Komesha McCloud, 35, of Pompano Beach, take several sets of perfumes and colognes from the men’s and women’s departments on security cameras.
Versace, Valentino, Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, and Yves Saint Laurent were among the brands that were taken.
McCloud was observed going into her Honda Accord, driving to another Macy’s entrance at the mall, and continuing her thieving spree in the men’s fragrance aisle after exiting the store without paying, according to the report.
According to the complaint, she left without paying once more while hiding the pilfered scents in a black bag.
When the police arrived, they pulled over McCloud’s vehicle and took her into custody.
McCloud acknowledged stealing the things when questioned, stating, “They can have their stuff back,” according to the report.
It was estimated that the stolen fragrances were worth $1,980 in total.
McCloud had an ongoing warrant out of Indian River County, according to additional inquiry.
She was charged with grand theft—retail theft of between $750 and $5,000—and failing to redeem leased goods for more than 30 days after her detention, according to the Broward County Jail.
