Coral Springs restaurant raises funds for child’s undiagnosed illness

Coral Springs, Florida – Wings Plus in Coral Springs is hosting a special fundraiser on Tuesday to support 3-year-old Hunter, who has been struggling with an undiagnosed medical condition. The event, scheduled from 5 to 9 PM, will donate 20% of all sales to help the family cover Hunter’s mounting medical expenses.
Hunter’s health began to decline shortly after his first birthday. Since then, his parents, Sandra and Diego, have sought answers through numerous hospital visits and medical tests. Despite the extensive efforts, doctors have been unable to identify the cause of his condition, leaving the family in a state of uncertainty. According to the family’s Go Fund Me page, Hunter’s condition remains a mystery that has stumped doctors, nurses, and therapists.

The family is hopeful that their upcoming appointment with specialists in Boston will provide much-needed answers. The consultation is set for March, and they are optimistic that these experts may be able to pinpoint the cause of Hunter’s illness. However, the road to a diagnosis has been both physically and financially draining, with the family now focusing on raising funds to support the necessary treatments and tests.
The fundraiser will be held at Wings Plus, located at 9880 West Sample Road in Coral Springs. From 5 to 9 PM, 20% of all sales will be donated directly to the family’s efforts to cover Hunter’s medical bills. For those who cannot attend the event in person, donations can be made through the family’s Go Fund Me campaign. As of Monday, the page has raised $17,630 from 160 donations toward a goal of $25,000.

The community’s support has been overwhelming so far, and the family remains hopeful that the fundraiser will help them reach their goal. “We appreciate every donation and every person who comes out to help our son,” Sandra and Diego said in a recent update on the Go Fund Me page.
Hunter’s parents are determined to provide the best care possible for their son and are grateful for the generosity of their community. The fundraiser at Wings Plus offers a chance for local residents to support the family during this difficult time, with all proceeds going toward Hunter’s medical expenses as he continues to fight for answers.
