Coral Springs prepares for a festive Fourth of July celebration with fireworks and family fun

Coral Springs, Florida – Families and friends across Coral Springs are gearing up for an exciting evening of fireworks, music, and fun this Friday, July 4, as the city hosts its annual Independence Day celebration at Mullins Park.
The community gathering is set to kick off at 5 p.m. with a high-energy performance by The Remix Band, who will take the stage to entertain the crowd with popular tunes. Guests can also look forward to festive appearances by Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty stilt walkers, who will roam the park and add patriotic charm throughout the evening.
At 8:45 p.m., all eyes will turn skyward as the fireworks show lights up the night—weather permitting. The city has planned a colorful display to cap off the celebration, giving residents a memorable way to honor the nation’s birthday.
This year’s festivities offer something for everyone. A wide range of food trucks and local vendors will be on-site, offering everything from savory meals to sweet treats. Families with children can head over to the Fun Zone, located on Fields #4 and #6, where inflatable attractions will keep the little ones busy. These inflatables will close promptly at 8:30 p.m., so families are encouraged to arrive early. Coral Springs residents can show a valid ID to register for Express Lane access and avoid long wait times in the Fun Zone.
Admission and parking are both free, but officials warn that parking will be limited. Residents are urged to walk, bike, or carpool to Mullins Park if possible. Coral Springs Drive will be closed in both directions starting at 6 p.m., and drivers should expect heavy traffic delays around 9 p.m. as the event wraps up.
To ensure child safety during the busy evening, the city will offer free wristbands at designated tents. Parents can write their phone numbers on these bands to help reunite quickly with their children if needed.
Attendees are welcome to bring coolers, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets to enjoy the event comfortably. However, bringing outside alcohol is prohibited. Beer and other adult beverages will be available for purchase in clearly marked designated areas.
Those looking for more information, including event guidelines and weather updates, are encouraged to visit the city’s official website.
With a packed lineup and community spirit in full swing, Coral Springs is ready to celebrate the Fourth with music, memories, and plenty of patriotic flair.
