Free final Walk on Wednesdays concert of the season set for April 29 at The Walk of Coral Springs featuring live music and community gathering in an outdoor setting

Coral Springs, Florida – Residents in Coral Springs will have one more chance to enjoy live outdoor music this season as the final “Walk on Wednesdays” concert is set for April 29 at The Walk of Coral Springs.

The free event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., bringing the seasonal series to a close with an evening of music, community, and casual outdoor gathering. The concert will take place in the courtyard at 2750 University Drive, positioned next to BurgerFi and directly across from the well-known fountain that anchors the shopping and dining area.

This final show will feature South Florida band The Ruminators, a group known for its energetic live sets and local following. Their performance will wrap up a series that has steadily drawn residents out midweek to enjoy food, music, and a relaxed atmosphere in a shared public space.

The “Walk on Wednesdays” series has become a familiar seasonal tradition for many in the community, offering a simple but consistent way for people to gather outdoors without cost or formality. Each week, families, friends, and neighbors have come together to enjoy different musical acts while taking advantage of the open-air setting.

As with previous events, admission will be free, and organizers are providing complimentary parking in both the east and west lots surrounding The Walk. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding lawn chairs so they can settle in comfortably during the performance.

The event is designed to be family-friendly, making it accessible for residents of all ages. However, organizers note that the concert will be weather dependent, meaning any severe weather conditions could affect scheduling.

The setting itself plays a key role in the experience. The Walk of Coral Springs, with its open courtyards and pedestrian-friendly layout, has become a popular gathering point for community events like this one. Its combination of retail, dining, and open space allows for an informal environment where live music can be enjoyed in a relaxed way.

While the Wednesday concerts pause after this event, many in the community are already looking ahead to future seasonal programming and similar gatherings in the months to come.

For now, though, the focus is on one last evening of music, warm weather, and a shared moment under the open sky in Coral Springs.
