Jubilee Home Assisted Living celebrates grand opening in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – A new assisted living home in Coral Springs is welcoming residents with a focus on comfort, personal care and independence.

Jubilee Home Assisted Living of Coral Springs officially celebrated its grand opening on Sept. 17 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce. Community leaders attended the event, including Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook.

“I always love to welcome new businesses to Coral Springs, and I want you to be successful,” said Brook.

The facility was created by Fedie Ovil and her husband, Guerlin, with the goal of giving seniors an opportunity to age in place in a residential setting. Fedie serves as the administrator of Jubilee and said her experience working in larger assisted living facilities helped shape the idea behind the new home.

Rather than a large institutional-style facility, Jubilee operates from a single-family-style home in a residential neighborhood at 846 Northwest 84th Lane in Coral Springs.

Following the ribbon-cutting, guests were able to tour the property and see the living spaces available to residents. The home includes bedrooms and a swimming pool, along with features designed to make daily life more comfortable.

According to Fedie, every room has a television, while cable and internet are also available. Residents can take part in games and activities as part of the home’s effort to provide an active and welcoming environment.

“I have worked in larger assisted living facilities, and I want to create a more comfortable environment for our residents,” said Fedie. “My goal is to have a warm, comfortable setting where residents feel safe, valued, and respected. We will have engaging activities and opportunities to stay active.”

Jubilee is an extended congregate care facility, providing enhanced care while maintaining the feel of a home. The facility’s approach is centered on individualized care and supporting residents’ independence and well-being.

Fedie said the goal is to give residents a place where they can continue living with dignity and trust while receiving the level of care they need.

The grand opening also gave local community members and leaders an opportunity to learn more about the facility and its approach to senior living. The residential design is intended to provide a different atmosphere from larger assisted living communities, with a smaller and more personal setting.

For Fedie and her husband, the opening represents the start of their effort to create a place where seniors can feel comfortable and respected while remaining active.

Jubilee Home Assisted Living is located at 846 Northwest 84th Lane in Coral Springs. The business is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
