Coral Springs residents encouraged to support Community Chest by participating in Pizza for a Purpose week

Coral Springs, Florida – This November, Coral Springs residents have the chance to make a meaningful impact simply by enjoying a slice of pizza. The Coral Springs Community Chest is teaming up with Pepperoni Grill for “Pizza for a Purpose” week, running from November 10 through 16, to raise funds for local residents in need.

During the event, customers who dine in, take out, or order delivery from Pepperoni Grill at 9174 Wiles Road can support the nonprofit by mentioning Coral Springs Community Chest when placing their order. The restaurant will donate 20% of proceeds to the organization’s mission, allowing residents to contribute to a wide range of programs while enjoying their favorite meals.

The Coral Springs Community Chest has long played a vital role in the city, providing funding to local nonprofits that serve children, seniors, students, people with disabilities, and families facing hardship. Each year, the organization’s trustees carefully review grant applications and award funding to programs that have a meaningful impact on the community. By participating in “Pizza for a Purpose” week, residents help ensure that these programs continue to operate and grow.

According to the nonprofit, nearly 98% of all funds raised remain in Coral Springs, directly supporting residents through local initiatives. This allows the Community Chest to address immediate needs, fund educational and recreational programs, and help families and individuals overcome challenges ranging from financial hardship to health and wellness issues.

“Events like this give residents a chance to make a difference in a simple, enjoyable way,” said a spokesperson for Coral Springs Community Chest. “By supporting local businesses and saying Coral Springs Community Chest when ordering, every customer contributes to improving the lives of people in our community.”
