The incident occurred at approximately 9:18 p.m. near the entrance to the 800 block of University Drive at Atlantic Crossings Plaza.
According to authorities, the collision involved a 2025 Toyota Corolla, driven by an adult male, and an Ultra Bee E-Moto operated by a juvenile male. Police said the motorbike was traveling southbound on University Drive when the Corolla, heading northbound, attempted a left turn into the plaza. The two vehicles collided at the turn, causing the juvenile rider to sustain severe injuries.
Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded quickly to the scene and transported the injured youth to Broward Health Medical Center. Officials described the injuries as life-threatening, but no further updates on the juvenile’s condition have been released.
