Teen performers bring Mean Girls musical to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts stage

Coral Springs, Florida – A group of young performers will bring the popular story of Mean Girls to life on stage in Coral Springs this summer as the Next Stop Broadway Teen Theatre Project presents the Broadway musical adaptation of the hit film.

The production will take place at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, featuring three performances at the end of July. The show gives local teen performers the opportunity to showcase their acting, singing and stage skills while presenting a familiar story with new musical elements.

Based on the popular 2004 movie, Mean Girls: The Musical follows Cady Heron as she enters a new school and faces the complicated world of friendships, popularity and finding her own identity. The production combines comedy, energetic musical performances and messages focused on confidence, kindness and the importance of being true to yourself.

The musical follows Cady’s journey as she adjusts to a new environment and learns valuable lessons about acceptance and the challenges that come with trying to fit in. Through its songs and humor, the show explores the pressures many teenagers experience while growing up.
