Rollover crash on I-75 sent four people to hospital over the weekend

Broward County, Florida – Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue (BSFR) has confirmed that a rollover car accident on Interstate 75 near the eastern toll plaza required the hospitalization of four individuals.

The accident, which occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday, involved a vehicle rollover, leading to critical injuries for two of the occupants. Both victims were males, with one of them requiring urgent aerial evacuation to Broward Health Fort Lauderdale due to the severity of his injuries. As per BSFR, this 27-year-old man is grappling with life-threatening traumas.

Simultaneously, a 60-year-old man, also critically injured during the mishap, had to be transferred to the hospital via ground transport owing to his serious traumatic condition.

The accident did not spare the other two occupants either, a male and a female, although their injuries are reportedly of a less severe nature and they are expected to recover. The male victim, aged 58, endured minor injuries and was subsequently transferred to the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Similarly, a 60-year-old female, who also sustained minor injuries, was transported by ground to receive the necessary medical attention, according to official reports.
