Broward Sheriff’s Office seeks help in finding missing 13-year-old

Broward County, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is appealing to the community for assistance in the search for a 13-year-old girl reported missing from Pompano Beach in the previous month.

Detectives report that Varsha Calloway was last sighted at approximately 3:45 a.m. on July 25, in the vicinity of the 700 block of Southwest Ninth Street.

Calloway has been described by authorities as being approximately 5 feet, 3 inches in height and weighing around 140 pounds. She is further identified by her black hair and brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance, investigators note, Calloway was observed donning a black t-shirt and black shorts.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with knowledge of Calloway’s location or information that may aid in her recovery to reach out to BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274. Alternatively, contact can also be made via the BSO non-emergency number, which is 954-764-4357. The assistance of the public is of the utmost importance in ensuring Varsha Calloway’s safe return.
