Son said he “wanted to kill” his mother “for many, many years” after he traveled to her place for a family gathering and stabbed her multiple times as soon as she opened the door until she fell down and died; arrested

In a shocking incident, a young man has been accused of the brutal murder of his own 46-year-old mother, an elementary school teacher, in what authorities described as an “inexplicable, vicious murder.” The suspect, a 21-year-old pre-med student, later identified as Emmanuel, confessed to the crime to authorities.

The tragic event unfolded over the weekend when Emmanuel traveled to his mother’s home, where a family gathering for a grandparent was planned. He had asked his mother, later identified as Elvia, if he could stay at her place for the family event, and she had agreed. According to the sheriff’s office, despite Emmanuel’s claims of loving his mother—rating their relationship an eight out of ten—the young man harbored a longstanding resentment towards her.

Authorities detailed that Emmanuel had expressed a desire to kill his mother for years due to frustration. “You know, I have wanted to kill my mother for many, many years because she got on my nerves,” Emmanuel reportedly said. Driven by these dark thoughts, Emmanuel, upon arriving at his mother’s home in a white sedan, attacked Elvia as soon as she opened the door. The attack occurred while she was on the phone with a relative. Despite her attempts to escape, Emmanuel pursued and continued stabbing her until she succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. Following the murder, Emmanuel called 911, confessed to the crime, and was fully cooperative with the law enforcement officers. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

The case has particularly disturbed local authorities, with authorities expressing deep dismay over the brutal nature of the crime and the son’s calm confession. Elvia was a second-grade teacher at an elementary school, where she was dearly loved and respected by the community. The news of her violent death has left the school and local community in profound shock and mourning. As the community grapples with this tragedy, the legal process is ongoing, with Emmanuel facing severe legal consequences for his actions. His initial court appearances will likely shed more light on the motivations behind this horrifying act and the specifics of the charges against him. The case continues to develop, leaving a community in mourning and a family grappling with an unimaginable loss.
