Publix announces reopening of renovated Ramblewood Square location

Coral Springs, Florida – On August 17, the well-known supermarket chain, Publix, is set to reopen its store in Ramblewood Square, situated at 1285 N. University Drive.

This particular branch was shuttered on May 7, 2022, for the purpose of extensive renovations. The aged 33-year-old structure underwent demolition, subsequent remodeling, and was rebuilt anew.

The J Raymond Construction Corporation took on the role of the primary contractor for this redevelopment, working on a property owned by Kitson and Partners.

Upon its anticipated opening, the establishment will span 54,964 square feet. It will house various departments, encompassing grocery, dairy, frozen products, seafood, meat, and fresh produce sections. Additional amenities include a comprehensive bakery, a deli counter, and a pharmacy section. Notably, the revamped plaza will also introduce a Ross Dress for Less outlet.

It’s worth noting that this reestablishment of the Ramblewood Square Publix mirrors the earlier renovation of the Riverside Square location at 8160 Wiles Road, which saw a closure in February 2021 and celebrated its reopening a year thereafter.
