Following a fight in the schoolyard at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, a student was arrested
Coral Springs, Florida – At Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, a fight with many adults, including a police officer, occurred in the courtyard last week, leading to the arrest of a student.
Several kids got into a verbal altercation following Friday’s final dismissal bell, according to a note sent to parents by Principal Mark Kaplan.
Before the dispute descended into violence, the school resource officer and security stepped in to separate the pupils.
But when a “bystander” physically attacked multiple adults, including the cop, the situation became more heated.
After calling in more Coral Springs police to provide support, cops managed to get the situation under control in a matter of minutes.
One of the students was taken into custody.
As news of the brawl spread on social media, some parents expressed concern for the safety of the staff and students, sparking a conversation among parents about the occurrence.
Kaplan underlined how crucial it is that students abide by staff instructions and school policies while on campus.
“Our top priority is safety,” he added in the message.
