A Jimmy Buffett tribute concert and state of the city address will be held in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – On Saturday, February 8, Coral Springs’ free outdoor Community Concert will feature a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, The Landsharks Band. Residents are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts and enjoy an evening of tropical vibes.

Important updates on the city’s development will be given during the annual State of the City address, which kicks off the evening at 5 p.m. Locals can watch live on CityTV or attend in person.

The Landsharks, who are well-known for their faithful covers of Jimmy Buffett’s songs, have played with Buffett at Key West and Margaritaville, where they were the official house band.

According to Mayor Scott Brook, “Nothing is more iconic than the relaxed vibes and island tunes that bring people together like Jimmy Buffett’s unforgettable hits.” “I’m excited to watch the Landsharks, who are known for their impressive performances, take over Coral Springs’ airwaves as part of this free community event.”

Live music, dancing, food trucks, pop-up bars, and family-friendly events like face painting, arts & crafts, and roaming entertainment are all available to attendees. To celebrate Buffett’s legacy, guests are urged to dress in their finest island costumes.

Parking is accessible at the City Hall garage, and admission and parking are free. As part of the city’s sustainability drive, free filtered water fountains encourage visitors to bring reusable cups.
