The theater department of Coral Springs High School will present the musical Emma

Coral Springs, Florida – Drama and the performing arts are two things that Sofia Palhano is very passionate about.
She plays Emma, the principal character in the pop musical Emma, which will be performed at Coral Springs High School on February 27, 28, and March 1.
The play’s music director and student assistant director, Palhano, will oversee rehearsals while theater director Barbara Krantz takes a two-week leave to give her husband a kidney.
“Being a director for the first time is more stressful than I anticipated,” Palhano remarked.
To succeed in acting, one needs to love it, says 17-year-old Palhano, a Coral Springs senior with a 4.8 GPA.
She declared, “I hope to pursue a career in theater and possibly appear on Broadway.”
Emma, a senior in a private school who attempts to function as a matchmaker for her peers and is viewed as an antihero, is the main character of the play. According to Krantz, 16-year-old Coral Springs junior Samuel Douglas portrays Jeff, as a bright high school student who fills in as a science substitute teacher for freshmen and sophomores.
Douglas, who has a 4.2 GPA, stated, “I love being a part of this play, and I want to have a career in acting.”
Emma will be presented at 6:30 p.m. on February 27 and 28 and at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. Coral Springs High students and elderly citizens pay $12 for entrance, while the general public pays $15. Youngsters under five go in free.
