Two ice cream shops in Coral Springs earn recognition on Yelp’s 2025 top 100 ice cream shops list for the U.S.

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs is earning a cool new reputation — this time, for its ice cream. Two local sweet spots have secured places on Yelp’s Top 100 Ice Cream Shops in the U.S. for 2025, showcasing the city’s growing status as a destination for frozen treats.

Leading the way is Let’s Chill Homemade Ice Cream, which landed an impressive #2 spot on the list. Located at 9739 Sample Road, this shop is more than just a neighborhood favorite. It’s owned by U.S. Army veterans and husband-and-wife duo Ricardo Braga and Cristina Alonso, who both served overseas before turning their focus to creating handcrafted ice cream.

Let’s Chill isn’t new to national acclaim. After opening its doors in 2022, the shop immediately made waves — also placing second on the same Yelp list in 2023. With its rotating menu of bold, creative flavors and commitment to quality, it has quickly built a loyal following and become a standout in the competitive world of artisanal desserts.

Just down the street, another Coral Springs gem made the 2025 list. The Magic Cow, located at 10274 Sample Road, was ranked #96, making it the second local business in the city to gain national recognition this year. Known for its variety of flavors and fun, modern atmosphere, The Magic Cow continues to draw both residents and visitors in search of a sweet escape from the Florida heat.

This is not the first time Coral Springs has been recognized for its ice cream scene. In 2023, Cherry Smash, a retro-themed ice cream parlor at 8000 Wiles Road, earned the #87 spot on Yelp’s ranking, proving that the city has a deep bench of delicious dessert destinations.

With two shops making the 2025 list and another honored in 2023, Coral Springs now boasts a trio of nationally recognized ice cream spots — all within just a few miles of each other. For local residents, it’s not just a treat — it’s a point of pride.
