Military Trail at Forest Hill Blvd. closed due to a fatal collision

As of Wednesday morning, Forest Hill Blvd. has been closed at Military Trail due to a deadly accident.

Drivers in the area should use Kirk Rd. and Haverhill Rd. as alternate routes.

Just before 2 a.m., the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a Dodge Challenger was traveling along Forest Hill Blvd. at a “high rate of speed.”

Both vehicles collided head-on as one attempted to cross the intersection at Military Trail.

The Challenger crashed into a powerpole and came to a stop in an inverted position.

The driver of the Challenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver suffered life-threatening injuries.
