Lauderhill police looking for information regarding an incident where a man sustained serious injuries

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – The gunman who seriously wounded a man on Tuesday afternoon in Lauderhill is now being sought by the police.

It was said that the incident took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 1192 North State Road 7.

Officers responded to the scene and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound at one of the apartment units. He was then taken to Broward Health Medical Center and was listed in serious condition.

An initial investigation was carried out by authorities and showed that two men were engaged in an altercation that escalated and led to a shooting. The man responsible for the shooting is believed to have fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police conducted an extensive search within the complex in order to find the suspect, but unfortunately, the search did not yield results.
