As temperatures come down, so do the iguanas

Florida – Iguanas will begin falling from trees, as South Florida temperature drops.
Cold-stunned iguanas could fall from trees, as South Florida experiences degrees in the 40s.
Iguanas are still alive, but their cold blood and the cold temperatures don’t mix well.
That causes them to enter a frozen state.
As the temperatures start to climb, the iguanas will begin moving again.
If you see one from a safe distance, please email images of them to [email protected] or post with the hashtag #senditto7.
