Authorities seeking suspects in an armed robbery at a parking lot in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla.  — An armed robbery took place on Sunday in the parking lot of the Town Center at Boca Raton, and detectives from the Boca Raton Police Department are now investigating the incident.

The incident reportedly took place at about 9:30 p.m. when the victim was walking to her vehicle after finishing her shift at True Food Kitchen.

The woman reportedly informed the authorities that she saw a blue sedan speeding toward her. As she got into her car, two black men stepped out of a sedan and brandished a firearm at her. The perpetrators shouted at the victim, demanding that she hand over her money.

The victim gave the suspects an envelope with $250 in tips she had earned during her shift, according to the police report.

The suspects allegedly returned to their vehicle, which the victim later described as a newer model bright blue Alfa Romeo Giulia, and proceeded in the direction of the Glades Road entrance to the mall.

The suspects are said to be between the ages of 18 and 20. They were matching in their clothing, which included dark pants and dark hooded sweatshirts.
