Hollywood Police Department searching for gunmen in BB gun shooting incident

Hollywood, FLA – Authorities are searching for the gunmen responsible for a BB gun shooting incident and have appealed to the public to step forward with information.

The mother of the teenage girl who was injured by a BB gunshot to the leg spoke about the incident.

Speaking to several news stations, the mother of the 19-year-old girl said the incident took place in Holland Park in Hollywood at about 1:30 p.m. on Veterans Day.

The woman chose to remain anonymous when talking about the incident since it had a traumatic effect on her and her family.

“The second shot hit my daughter, she saw herself bleeding and realized she was shot,” according to her statement.

She claims that despite her daughter having been transported to the hospital in an ambulance, the pellet is still stuck inside her leg. In addition to that, she mentions that in order to get it removed, she may have to undergo surgery.

According to the mother’s testimony, the people responsible for her daughter’s injury are 2–3 white men who drove off in a dark-colored sedan.

The Hollywood Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident and is urging anyone who might have information to contact them at 954-764-4357.
