Huge step: Harry and William reportedly made contact recently to try and fix their relationship, but Meghan Markle might prevent such scenario

According to reports from royal sources, there may be a resolution on the horizon for the longstanding familial discord within the British monarchy. Prince Harry is reportedly leaning towards mending the prolonged breach with his elder sibling Prince William. However, it seems that Meghan Markle, Harry’s wife, is less enthusiastic about this potential reconciliation and is ready to do everything in her power to prevent such scenario.

Renowned royal writer, Tom Bower, recently spoke with GB News, disclosing that Prince Harry and Prince William have broken their silence and established contact, hinting at the potential of Prince Harry’s return to the U.K. This contact between the estranged brothers represents a substantial development, though no concrete decisions have been made.

Despite this positive progression, Bower hinted that Meghan Markle, the former ‘Suits’ actress, may not be so eager about the potential relocation.

“I don’t think he can come back,” the Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors author hinted, as reported by NY Post.

“He’s caused so much damage to the family and the concern now is that if he does return, he could well damage it even further.” He went on to say: “I think Meghan would’ve been horrified by Harry’s suggestion.”

Bower delved deeper into Meghan’s relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton, asserting that the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t share a close bond with them. According to Bower, the idea of Meghan trading her American lifestyle for a comparatively constrained living situation in Kensington Palace is highly unlikely.

However, the royal writer speculates that Prince Harry could be more receptive to a potential return to the U.K., particularly in the light of recent struggles they’ve experienced in the U.S. These setbacks include the ending of their Spotify collaboration and their unsuccessful attempts at forging influential alliances.

The couple, according to Bower, is confronted with a multitude of significant challenges on American soil. These range from financial troubles to a lack of direction and identity crises. Bower notes that Harry and Meghan have tried to leverage all opportunities since their relocation to the U.S., but now, it appears they have reached an impasse.

Kate Middleton reportedly ‘blames Meghan’ for Prince William and Prince Harry’s rift

In the hypothetical scenario that the Sussexes decide to return to the U.K., there’s no certainty that relations between Meghan and Kate Middleton would suddenly improve. An unnamed royal insider reportedly told Heat that Meghan is displeased with her sister-in-law’s alleged interference in her and Prince Harry’s matters.

Kate Middleton, now 41, has reportedly been candid about her feelings regarding the royal family feud. She purportedly feels a profound regret about Prince Harry’s minimal communication with his brother and the rest of the royal clan, attributing the discord to Meghan.

“Kate feels terrible that the royals and Harry are at this current impasse with so little contact between them,” the insider told Heat. “She blames Meghan for it almost entirely and the longer it goes on the more it upsets and frustrates her,” they continued.

“Kate’s let it be known to the palace aides who still speak to the Sussexes that she thinks it’s an extremely poor show the way Harry’s being treated,” the insider said. “But Meghan is furious and thinks Kate has no right getting involved in her marriage. She would never dream of interfering between her and William.”
